Makarska, Croatia
Having abandoned our plans to visit Mostar we landed in Makarska. Largely a German tourist beach. A great place to rest and recover from the heat and jet lag of Dubrovnik.

| The drive up from Dubrovnik was quite beautiful. Forests, vineyards, birds, and always the sea. It was a quite nice drive.
Makarska is a sea side resort populated mostly by Germans. Deb was able to get a good meal and we found a nice place to stay. This stop gave us a good chance to rest up for the rest of the adventure. |
